A collision led to The Shadows getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Karl-Åke Andreasson hit a great ball. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Niklas Lundqvist sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in The Shadows's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Basso came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute, Szekeres Tamas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niklas Lundqvist. In the 16th minute The Shadows were awarded a corner. Ni Zhen Ying went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ni Zhen Ying almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel did a great save. Bastian Von Axelson came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fodor Daniel could save by the left post. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niklas Lundqvist in the 18th minute of play. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Basso having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Basso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Herbert Holmgren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Fodor Daniel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Major Barna in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Basso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Major Barna put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marcos Basso. Marcos Basso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balazs Lajos in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balazs Lajos in the 38th minute of play forced The Shadows's goalkeeper Marcos Basso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bastian Von Axelson got free with Fodor Daniel in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ni Zhen Ying struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Shadows. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 51stth minute of the game Antal Valentin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Shadows's Marcos Basso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Major Barna hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Marcos Basso in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niklas Lundqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Basso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Shadows's goalkeeper Marcos Basso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The Shadows's 倪宇风 was substituted for Gelu Plopșor. The Shadows's Fabian Tingberg was substituted for Ni Zhen Ying. After 74 minutes The Shadows's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Balazs Lajos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcos Basso quite easily take care of the ball. Balazs Lajos had several of the The Shadows's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 74 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Marcos Basso as he didn't even see the shot coming. Takacs Tibor made in the 80th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Major Barna however managed to control. 80 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goalkeeper Marcos Basso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. In the 81st minute of the match Hungary got a corner. The Shadows's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Herbert Holmgren struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Niklas Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th match minute, The Shadows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastian Von Axelson to maneuver through the defense. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Basso having to interfere.
