C. fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when SORRISO E. C.'s Murilo Prestes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murilo Prestes in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21stth minute of the game Major Barna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SORRISO E. C.'s Carlos Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlos Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 27th minute of play. Carlos Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. SORRISO E. C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Takacs Tibor was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Prestes in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szekeres Tamas to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Murilo Prestes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Murilo Prestes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szekeres Tamas to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Murilo Prestes made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SORRISO E. C. booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Katona Janos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murilo Prestes in the 53rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balazs Lajos got free with Carlos Ramos in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Major Barna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Carlos Ramos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 61st minute Murilo Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.'s Carlos Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takacs Tibor in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 minutes SORRISO E. A very good chance for a goal. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antal Valentin kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 70thth minute. Though ot was a great shot SORRISO E. C.'s keeper Carlos Ramos was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged.
