Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frank Peletier got the match started through his kick off. 8 minutes into the game, Alexandru Geamănu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Strambeni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France the free kick. In the 8th minute, Alexandru Geamănu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Árpád Kutas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. Robert Chapuis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Săvoiu having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camille Baume in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remus Săvoiu saved Strambeni from getting behind. In the 16th minute of the game Dragoş Cazimir made a throw-in which Árpád Kutas played forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emre Karakushev in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute Emre Karakushev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, Strambeni's Emre Karakushev made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxime Durand was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frank Peletier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Săvoiu having to interfere. With a little luck, Strambeni's Remus Săvoiu got control of the ball when Frank Peletier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Strambeni's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Frank Peletier scored to the left of an out of position Remus Săvoiu, making the score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in France's zone, Árpád Kutas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxime Durand came out of the goal and Árpád Kutas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emre Karakushev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remy Dupuy's late challenge caught a Strambeni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remy Dupuy helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Remy Dupuy hit a great ball. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Árpád Kutas in the 40th minute of play. Camille Baume who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Remus Săvoiu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Alexandru Geamănu made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Alexandru Geamănu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strambeni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandru Geamănu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Remus Săvoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Peletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Árpád Kutas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remus Săvoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Alexandru Geamănu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxime Durand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Remus Săvoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Peletier in the 61st minute of play. In the 66th minute France were awarded a corner. David Barbier went to the cornerflag to take it. Remus Săvoiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Camille Baume's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Maxime Durand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Árpád Kutas went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 76th minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Săvoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remy Dupuy hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Remus Săvoiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Peletier went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Remus Săvoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
