The supporters of Italy booed when Klassisk Framtid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Ekrot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zaccheo Andolina came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Toke Panning could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 28th minute of play forced Klassisk Framtid's goalkeeper Toke Panning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Eric Ekrot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toke Panning narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jorge Estebano got a throw-in 33 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eric Ekrot. The tension between the Klassisk Framtid and the Italy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Klassisk Framtid's Shao Chang got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Zaccheo Andolina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Toke Panning. That made the score 2-0 in the 45 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anders Pike stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Toke Panning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Ståhlberg in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Klassisk Framtid's goal looked a bit too open when Porziano Marchitelli came free, but Toke Panning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Italy's attentive Siricio Liotta managed to snatch the ball when Eric Ekrot made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toke Panning read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Gunnarsson in the 63rd minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Ståhlberg. After 69 minutes Italy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jorge Estebano who took care of the corner kick. Aymerick Laporte kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 74th minute of play forced Klassisk Framtid's goalkeeper Toke Panning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Italy's Zaccheo Andolina in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Klassisk Framtid's goalie prevented a goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toke Panning prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zaccheo Andolina in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toke Panning saved Klassisk Framtid from getting behind. Toke Panning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siricio Liotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Klassisk Framtid's Toke Panning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Porziano Marchitelli in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toke Panning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdi Mazlum came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Klassisk Framtid defense, Porziano Marchitelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toke Panning. The Klassisk Framtid fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toke Panning should have stopped the shot. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Klassisk Framtid's Toke Panning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Curto in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Italy fans cheered their team off the field, for while Klassisk Framtid had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
