After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Merexildo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cornelio Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 14th minute of play. After 14 minutes of play, Hungary's Antal Valentin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Merexildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Defensores del Albinegro getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Pastor Lixandro hit a great ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 26th minute of play forced Defensores del Albinegro's goalkeeper Cornelio Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Defensores del Albinegro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Takacs Tibor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Cornelio Merexildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornelio Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximo Aritza. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Li Sha Yuan sent off a good shot on target. Defensores del Albinegro's Cornelio Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Katona Janos kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Takacs Tibor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 61 played minutes Defensores del Albinegro got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Balesio. Cornelio Merexildo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Yao Zhen came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornelio Merexildo made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores del Albinegro's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Merexildo came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 73 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Bakos Endre. In the 75th match minute, Defensores del Albinegro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Aritza to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Hegedus Henrik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Hegedus Henrik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Merexildo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Yao Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ildefonso Balesio was slow to take the kick. During this time Defensores del Albinegro's players had a chance to rest. Cornelio Merexildo made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. Fodor Daniel had in the 92ndth minute some difficulties stopping Ildefonso Balesio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ildefonso Balesio scored 1-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fodor Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hungary played a much better game than Defensores del Albinegro and deserved their victory. The Defensores del Albinegro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
