France's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SvE United the free kick. After 11 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by David Barbier. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Peletier in the 13th minute of play forced SvE United's goalkeeper Tzvetoslav Desov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 minutes, Quentin Beaux mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the France and the SvE United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute Vitko Kozlov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Peletier was the one to do the kick off. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hristo Stoichkov's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Armel Chastain ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tzvetoslav Desov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 58 minutes into the game, Nasko Shatov threw the ball into play from the sideline. France's Remy Dupuy quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Frank Peletier hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Hristo Stoichkov put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Maxime Durand. With a little luck, SvE United's Tzvetoslav Desov got control of the ball when Armel Chastain tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Vitko Kozlov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maxime Durand was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. France's Remy Dupuy quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nasko Shatov, made in the 89th minute of the game. 93 minutes into the game, Spiro Mutashki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SvE United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France the free kick. SvE United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
