Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Christijan Schreuder kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Herbert Hilhorst in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 12 minutes, Twan Hesseling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Verwachting's supporters crossed their fingers, but Twan Hesseling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Verwachting's Twan Hesseling sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Hegedus Henrik took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Herbert Hilhorst to make any attempt to save it. If Hegedus Henrik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Verwachting's Herbert Hilhorst proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Verwachting from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goalkeeper Herbert Hilhorst had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balazs Lajos. Antal Valentin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Herbert Hilhorst 35 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Major Barna fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Herbert Hilhorst quite easily take care of the ball. Major Barna in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Herbert Hilhorst, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Major Barna in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Hilhorst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Christijan Schreuder tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Japke de Boer in the 56th minute of play. Verwachting's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Harm de Freitas in the 57th minute. It was a well-played corner which Phoenix Soare managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Herbert Hilhorst stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Major Barna's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 64th minute of play forced Verwachting's goalkeeper Herbert Hilhorst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Hilhorst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goal looked a bit too open when Takacs Tibor came free, but Herbert Hilhorst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herbert Hilhorst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balazs Lajos in the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of Hungary booed when Verwachting was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriaan Kuypers didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Vörös Henrik fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Vörös Henrik a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Vörös Henrik. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Twan Hesseling in the 74th minute of play. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Japke de Boer in the 76th minute of play. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herbert Hilhorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Hungary players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
