Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Erik Vihonský made the kick off which started today's match. Kjell Sjöö made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Kjell Sjöö took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kjell Sjöö was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kjell Sjöö made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 24 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Piearres Holgado came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lúcio Sá in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the match, Lúcio Sá notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piearres Holgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Kjell Sjöö showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Piearres Holgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kjell Sjöö. Wim Wilmes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Vihonský in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt made a precise shot to the right of Kjell Sjöö. Curiphila Eagles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. Lúcio Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Piearres Holgado got free with Arnout Reekers in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Vihonský in the 75th minute. The supporters of Curiphila Eagles booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathijn Doctor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Curiphila Eagles's Téo Vianna was substituted for Vince Van Hooveldt. In the 78th minute, Mathijn Doctor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Kjell Sjöö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piearres Holgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Netherlands fully deserved thier win.
