The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Diego Armando Lamb's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrich Slany was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Henrich Slany was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Slovakia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Diego Armando Lamb scored to the left of an out of position Henrich Slany, making the score, 0-6. Henrich Slany made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Armando Lamb in the 58th minute. The supporters of Algarrobo booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kornel Jahoda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Tomás Talamilla succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 69th playminute. Wilfredo Marchetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Armando Lamb got free with Henrich Slany in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Diego Armando Lamb kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henrich Slany. That made the score 0-11 in the 82 minute of play. In the 88th minute, Algarrobo's Diego Armando Lamb dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. Pedro Tomás Talamilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Algarrobo's Pedro Tomás Talamilla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-13. When the match was over Algarrobo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Slovakia throughout the match.
