A very good chance. 10 minutes into the match, Santos da Bahia Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Róbson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Bala Mole tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12thth minute of the game Bala Mole who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Bala Mole sped through Denmark's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. Santos da Bahia Fc's Róbson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Róbson Amorim. Santos da Bahia Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chris Nygaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 28 minutes into the match, Santos da Bahia Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Mikkel Wulff came free, but Róbson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Santos da Bahia Fc's zone, Chris Nygaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Róbson Amorim came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandão Penha in the 40th minute of play. Róbson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chris Nygaard made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Chris Nygaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Santos da Bahia Fc's Bala Mole in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denmark's goalie prevented a goal. Kenn Skou hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Cléberson Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandão Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute Santos da Bahia Fc were awarded a corner. Igor Ramalho went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Igor Ramalho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Keld Paulsen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 74 minutes into the game, Santos da Bahia Fc's Bala Mole nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Keld Paulsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Róbson Amorim made a huge save. William Cosme hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Róbson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. A throw-in in the 85th minute of the game was made by Geovani Linares with Lisa Simpson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Róbson Amorim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Denmark's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chris Nygaard in the 88th minute. When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, Denmark's Chris Nygaard got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Róbson Amorim.
