Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Hansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. When Jimmie Löfdahl fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Papilio's protests and gave Jimmie Löfdahl a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Alan Rezek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vavrinec Holub was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Roland Kilström. Ivan Västlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Dostal in the 14th minute of the match. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sonny Hansson in the 18th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Papilio got a freekick which was hit by Edward Enegren. Valdemar Turecek kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Roland Kilström's shot from long distance in the 24th minute was not bad at all, but Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 26th minute, Matthias Lagerberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vavrinec Holub. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Matthias Lagerberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sonny Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vavrinec Holub was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Matthias Lagerberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Matthias Lagerberg really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Denis Dostal got a free kick in the 38th minute. Vavrinec Holub was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Roland Kilström. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Denis Dostal hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Matthias Lagerberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vavrinec Holub. That made the score 3-0 in the 45 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matthias Lagerberg to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Papilio got a freekick which was hit by Jimmie Löfdahl. Sonny Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sonny Hansson in the 60th minute of play. Matthias Lagerberg scored 4-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vavrinec Holub, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute, Ludwig Nordin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alan Rezek kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Lagerberg in the 68th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Papilio's Jörn Hylander got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthias Lagerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Lagerberg in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Hansson in the 83rd minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vavrinec Holub showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the Papilio players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
