Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sampo Luoma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Ossi Nurmi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ossi Nurmi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Sampo Luoma took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a little luck, Solvik's Gustavo Argenis got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarmo Kalto in the 30th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Tarmo Kalto came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iisakki Nyrhinen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Solvik's Tuukka Kirjonen got a free kick in the 34th minute. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ossi Nurmi, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Malte Schiele hit a great ball. After 43 minutes, Tarmo Kalto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Solvik and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Gustavo Argenis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. After 47 minutes, Tuukka Kirjonen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Solvik and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Solvik getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Tuukka Kirjonen hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Solvik's Gustavo Argenis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Adrian Dreifuss fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Adrian Dreifuss a yellow card for diving instead. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ossi Nurmi in the 60th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iisakki Nyrhinen made in the 67th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sampo Luoma. 68 minutes into the game, Chris Mergenthaler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Solvik the free kick. In the 70th match minute, Solvik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olli-Pekka Brinck to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Solvik's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Argenis came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 86th minute. Iisakki Nyrhinen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Argenis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Solvik's Tuukka Kirjonen got a free kick in the 91st minute. Malte Schiele charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Malte Schiele the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. Solvik's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
