One of Papilio:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Czech Republic:s goal. 20 minutes into the match, Alan Rezek notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Papilio's Ivan Västlund. Ivan Västlund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erik Jilek hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Svatopluk Capek's late challenge caught a Papilio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Svatopluk Capek helped the player get up and apologised. When Papilio's Matthias Lagerberg in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Czech Republic booed when Papilio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmie Löfdahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 played minutes, Czech Republic's Erik Jilek shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ivan Västlund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Czech Republic reached it. In the 44th match minute, Papilio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias Lagerberg to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Västlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Rezek in the 45th minute of play. Roland Kilström lost his temper 48 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 51st minute there was a penalty for Czech Republic. Erik Jilek stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ivan Västlund. 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sonny Hansson in the 58th minute of play. In the 75th minute Erik Jilek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Västlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Hansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Mark Eckegren kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Yngve Sjöberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Papilio getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Sonny Hansson hit a great ball. Papilio's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Denis Dostal scored to the left of an out of position Ivan Västlund, making the score, 2-3. In the 99th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Rezek to maneuver through the defense. Chants of Czech Republic echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Papilio had held the ball for most of the match.
