Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Baran Eroğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Nalder in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Farrugia in the 15th minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Highbury Boys 1896's Sigfred Michaely dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With a little luck, Austria's Fabio Auer got control of the ball when Sigfred Michaely tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfred Michaely in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Malcolm Farrugia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Auer was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Malcolm Farrugia put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fabio Auer. 46 minutes into the game, Malcolm Farrugia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Fabio Auer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sandro Galishoff made a kick off. Malcolm Farrugia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Auer came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Highbury Boys 1896's Sigfred Michaely. But to his dismay, Sigfred Michaely quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 62nd match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Wallner to maneuver through the defense. Austria's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Matt Delicata ran over to the corner to take the kick. Highbury Boys 1896's Matt Delicata was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fabio Auer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Highbury Boys 1896's Malcolm Farrugia in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Austria's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Austria's zone, Malcolm Farrugia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Auer came out of the goal and Malcolm Farrugia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Malcolm Farrugia put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fabio Auer. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sigfred Michaely in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Auer saved Austria from getting behind. In the 95th minute Malcolm Farrugia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Auer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Highbury Boys 1896 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
