In the 11th minute Matthias Zahn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute FC Angst vorm Ball were awarded a corner. Steven Bachmayr went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC Angst vorm Ball's Steven Bachmayr to fire away a dangerous shot which Tommy Kahn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Krabbe in the 14th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Aabel 李伟峰 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute FC Angst vorm Ball were awarded a corner. Steven Bachmayr went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Matthias Zahn almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. After 20 minutes, Janik Vogt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the FC Angst vorm Ball players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Zahn in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hartmut Hägele in the 24th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Krabbe in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matthias Zahn in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. 62 minutes into the match, FC Angst vorm Ball's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Jens Schrape reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matthias Zahn scored 0-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marko Köller struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Angst vorm Ball. Jens Schrape showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 74th minute. Frank Sachs's late challenge caught a FC Angst vorm Ball's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Sachs helped the player get up and apologised. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Zahn in the 85th minute of the match. Matthias Zahn hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The supporters of Germany booed when FC Angst vorm Ball was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. If Björn Michael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Zahn in the 95th minute of the match. The FC Angst vorm Ball players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
