An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Ilazki in the 5th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 played minutes Northern California got a freekick which was hit by Felix Kusko. After a defensive mix-up in Northern California's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Schembri came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 16th minute of play forced Northern California's goalkeeper David Schembri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabio Monte in the 17th minute. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Guillelme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Fabio Monte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute Leandro Chorche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Ilazki in the 61st minute of play. In the 81st minute, Leandro Chorche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute Leandro Chorche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 minutes, Fabio Monte made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hungary's Fodor Daniel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Guillelme in the 95th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Northern California were victorious despite being under pressure from Hungary for much of the match.
