The corner led ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Şafak Uysal to fire away a dangerous shot which Casper Claes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ersen Bumba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's goalkeeper Carlos Baptista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yves Dervaux. Carlos Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 57th minute of the match. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ersen Bumba, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Edward Vanderstraeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ made a substitution. Emre Mor replaced Atilla Tarkan Ulgu. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ersen Bumba in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Ersen Bumba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casper Claes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Carlos Baptista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's zone, Edward Vanderstraeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Baptista came out of the goal and Edward Vanderstraeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Ayvaz Tanay got a free kick in the 88th minute. Many of Belgium's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Belgium may have spent more time on the ball, but ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
