With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Wojciech Pieprz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Wojciech Pieprz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute, Wojciech Pieprz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aleksander Dynda charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aleksander Dynda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aleksander Dynda hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After 10 minutes, Edmund Degutis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fajna Paczka Kiwaczka II and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adolfo Ayala's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Ayala helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes Fajna Paczka Kiwaczka II got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Ayala. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edmund Degutis, made in the 34th minute of the game. Edmund Degutis made in the 35th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Wojciech Pieprz immediately put the ball in play. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Ayala in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fajna Paczka Kiwaczka II's Robert Budrewicz got a free kick in the 39th minute. If Mikkel Wulff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Ayala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keld Paulsen having to make a save. In the 53rd minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boleslaw Luty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boleslaw Luty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 75th minute of play. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
