Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) In the 6th minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farid Mondragón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by C. A. Independiente's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chris Nygaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Denmark's players had a chance to rest. A throw-in in the 11th minute of the game was made by Olav Graversen with Bertram Svenningsen as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 12 minutes into the game, Erberk Müftüoğlu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Theis Winther quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Denmark booed when C. A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sid Chadwick didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Erberk Müftüoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Farid Mondragón saved C. A. Independiente from getting behind. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerry Sellers in the 23rd minute of play. Kerry Sellers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keld Paulsen having to make a save. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerry Sellers in the 25th minute of play. After 26th play minutes Kerry Sellers shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Keld Paulsen and just under the crossbar into goal. Kerry Sellers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerry Sellers in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, C. A. Independiente's Kerry Sellers dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommie Bolton, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The C. A. Independiente fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when C. A. Independiente's Tommie Bolton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Denmark booed when C. A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sid Chadwick didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Lars Steen from long distance, 56 minutes into the match, got Farid Mondragón's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Tommie Bolton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Denmark's attentive Theis Winther managed to snatch the ball when Erberk Müftüoğlu made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. After 61 played minutes C. A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Kerry Sellers. When C. A. Independiente's Tommie Bolton in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denmark's goalie prevented a goal. Kerry Sellers scored 5-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keld Paulsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Theis Winther got a free kick in the 71st minute. Theis Winther hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Kerry Sellers might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Keld Paulsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kerry Sellers ran back to his position shaking his head. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerry Sellers in the 75th minute of play. When Kerry Sellers came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the C. A. Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kerry Sellers couldn't finish the play. Kerry Sellers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kerry Sellers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Theis Winther hit a great ball. After 84 played minutes, C. A. Independiente's Tommie Bolton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Keld Paulsen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C. A. Independiente reached it. Kerry Sellers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keld Paulsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eric Snowden hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Theis Winther got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95thth minute of the game Kerry Sellers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
