In the 23rd minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Perojo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaias Perojo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Wilmes went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lars Meesters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Perojo having to interfere. Isaias Perojo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 43rd minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The DALO S.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oto Abad to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Isaias Perojo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 63 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isaias Perojo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 64th minute of play. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. DALO S.C.'s Isaias Perojo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 84th minute of play. Isaias Perojo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 96th minute of the match. Netherlands were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
