After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaccheo Andolina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Pesquera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15thth minute of the game Soner Turking who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hilario Pesquera was a little too slow when Porziano Marchitelli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Soner Turking made a precise shot to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Italy's attentive Eliseo Cutri managed to snatch the ball when Emmanuel Vasco made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. When Golden Dragón F.C's Soner Turking in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Italy's goalie prevented a goal. When Eliseo Cutri fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Italy's protests and gave Eliseo Cutri a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Eliseo Cutri hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Soner Turking stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Italy's Eliseo Cutri got a free kick in the 54th minute. Hilario Pesquera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 57th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
