Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Augusto Asencio firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 21 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bas Tuitert kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, Łowcy Goroli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Dobrowski to maneuver through the defense. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Augusto Asencio made a huge save. In the 34th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Asencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Zbydniowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Dobrowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Dobrowski in the 54th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Łowcy Goroli defense, David Eikelkamp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Augusto Asencio. The Łowcy Goroli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augusto Asencio should have stopped the shot. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Asencio having to interfere. After 78 minutes of play, Łowcy Goroli's Roman Dobrowski made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boleslaw Jajko in the 82nd minute of play. Zbyszek Praski hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The Łowcy Goroli supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Łowcy Goroli would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
