Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Franquis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ben Breton. Tristan Franquis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ben Breton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. Deodato Magliozzi made in the 23rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Zena Busacca immediately put the ball in play. If Siricio Liotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Breton in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ben Breton in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. Helder Jares hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Sigfrido Auletta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Tristan Franquis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deodato Magliozzi to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goalkeeper Tristan Franquis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Porziano Marchitelli. 61 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Breton came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Helder Jares got a free kick in the 65th minute. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mantzio Poz in the 73rd minute of the match. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Nelio Tielve was substituted for Mantzio Poz. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Fernan Erus was substituted for Wincent Kanczuszewski. A sloppy throw-in by Deodato Magliozzi in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Henrique Velloso. Henrique Velloso charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrique Velloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Anastasios Machlas. But to his dismay, Anastasios Machlas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Siricio Liotta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Siricio Liotta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tristan Franquis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Italy's Siricio Liotta got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasios Machlas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasios Machlas in the 94th minute of play. Italy's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Imperio Catatumbo de Lara had won, even though Italy had held more of the ball.
