Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Concetto Trasatti started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Olaru in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Ranolfo saved Estudiantes de América from getting behind. Marcos Ranolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costica Vladimiri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Ranolfo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costica Vladimiri's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Romania's Carol Stinga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Romania from getting a goal against them. Carol Stinga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Concetto Trasatti in the 17th minute. After 18 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Traian Blăniță. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costica Vladimiri in the 19th minute of the match. Marcos Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costica Vladimiri in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Rasvan Cristescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carol Stinga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Beltza in the 30th minute of the match. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Marcos Ranolfo was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Rasvan Cristescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rasvan Cristescu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Marcos Ranolfo made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Adam Olaru sent off a good shot on target. Costica Vladimiri scored 0-2 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Ranolfo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Dei in the 93rd minute of play forced Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94thth minute of the game Anton Stinga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romania played a much better game than Estudiantes de América and deserved their victory. The Estudiantes de América players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
