Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Chris Nygaard started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Coelho in the 3rd minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikkel Wulff charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikkel Wulff the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikkel Wulff to maneuver through the defense. Rony Coelho scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keld Paulsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Coelho in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Meriç Nurkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denmark's Simon Bendtsen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bobby Moore, made in the 16th minute of the game. Chris Nygaard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emílio Cordeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Niles Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niles Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Š¢σяpiσиŠ's zone, Bertram Svenningsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio Cordeiro came out of the goal and Bertram Svenningsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bobby Moore got a throw-in 27 minutes in the game and the ball was received by João Augusto Netto. Emílio Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Kenn Skou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Amedeo Faccio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Š¢σяpiσиŠ's supporters rose to their feet, but Amedeo Faccio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo Faccio came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Coelho in the 41st minute of play. Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Cordeiro having to interfere. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Faccio in the 45th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Lars Steen. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Rony Coelho got free with Keld Paulsen in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Š¢σяpiσиŠ's Rony Coelho. But to his dismay, Rony Coelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Š¢σяpiσиŠ made a substitution. Jorginho Esteves replaced Fortunato Domenghini. Amedeo Faccio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emílio Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Steen in the 70th minute of play. Š¢σяpiσиŠ's Gilberto Cardozo was substituted for Rony Coelho. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Š¢σяpiσиŠ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chris Nygaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Denmark's players had a chance to rest. If Gilberto Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gilberto Cardozo scored 0-6 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keld Paulsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. Gilberto Cardozo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. Meriç Nurkan struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Š¢σяpiσиŠ. 90 minutes into the match, Š¢σяpiσиŠ's Amedeo Faccio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keld Paulsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 95 minutes into the game, Š¢σяpiσиŠ's Gilberto Cardozo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Keld Paulsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7.
