The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Vasile Ciumak got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 7 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Tello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Costica Vladimiri came free, but Dalmacio Pello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Adam Olaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Pello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustino Unax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carol Stinga having to interfere. Dalmacio Pello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rasvan Cristescu in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costica Vladimiri in the 19th minute of play forced Tello AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Uriel Cordearo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Romania's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Cordearo came free, but Carol Stinga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tello AFC's Dalmacio Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Olaru in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Tello AFC's Abel Lain dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rasvan Cristescu in the 36th minute of play forced Tello AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Adam Olaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dalmacio Pello was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Adam Olaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Romania were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Romania's Carol Stinga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Nofre in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute Adam Olaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Pello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Abel Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romania made a substitution. Anton Stinga replaced Adam Olaru. Carol Stinga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Nofre, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Dalmacio Pello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costica Vladimiri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Romania left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tello AFC.
