Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Peletier started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Gino Galante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Peletier got free with Jan-Åke Emander in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan-Åke Emander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Peletier in the 6th minute. After a defensive mix-up in France's zone, Gino Galante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxime Durand came out of the goal and Gino Galante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Gino Galante came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Gino Galante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, The Owls's Jan-Åke Emander got control of the ball when Frank Peletier tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Gino Galante came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gino Galante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxime Durand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Gino Galante might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxime Durand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gino Galante ran back to his position shaking his head. Gino Galante ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 28th minute Gino Galante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Baume in the 30th minute of play forced The Owls's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Emander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, France's Jean Bombelles got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Recep Talha Kutyan's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Maxime Durand - 0-1 was put on the score board in the 33rd minute. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gino Galante's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Henry Robiquet hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Gino Galante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maxime Durand was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After the first half The Owls were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino Galante in the 53rd minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxime Durand was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Gino Galante capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gino Galante really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. When Cristian Furdui fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Owls's protests and gave Cristian Furdui a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of France booed when The Owls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Furdui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maxime Durand came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by The Owls's Gino Galante. But to his dismay, Gino Galante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Henry Robiquet made in the 68th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Camille Baume immediately put the ball in play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Kağan Özpulat during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to The Owls getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ali Kağan Özpulat hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, France's Camille Baume got a free kick in the 76th minute. Gino Galante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gino Galante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maxime Durand having to make a save. France's Maxime Durand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save France from getting a goal against them. The Owls's Gino Galante got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Owls's Ubarna Harroyo was substituted for Gino Galante. Henry Robiquet made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by The Owls's Cazimir Dominte. Ubarna Harroyo took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The Owls's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
