Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Iulian Pordea started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Kornel Jahoda got a free kick in the 4th minute. Metod Mlynar kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Ondrej Biskup hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. If Liviu Huștea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Owls's Ionuț Lungu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save The Owls from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, The Owls's goalkeeper Ionuț Lungu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Metod Mlynar. The Owls's Constantin Ifrim pulled a muscle in his leg after 13 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Vavrinec Koleno hit a great ball. After 16 played minutes, The Owls's Fabian Isăcescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Henrich Slany came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Owls reached it. Liviu Huștea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrich Slany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iulian Pordea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Pordea came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When The Owls's Iulian Pordea in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Slovakia's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Metod Mlynar got free with Ionuț Lungu in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Slovakia were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after The Owls's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pavol Koleno took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Pavol Koleno got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ionuț Lungu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to The Owls getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Fabian Isăcescu hit a great ball. The Owls's Ionuț Lungu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Metod Mlynar in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Petruț Alecu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Owls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petruț Alecu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Metod Mlynar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Metod Mlynar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Cornel Angheluță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ionuț Lungu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavol Koleno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Slovakia's Henrich Slany proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Slovakia from getting a goal against them. When Zigmund Maliar came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Slovakia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zigmund Maliar couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute of the game Traian Arsene made a throw-in which Fabian Isăcescu played forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Metod Mlynar in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ionuț Lungu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabian Isăcescu's late challenge caught a Slovakia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Isăcescu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Slovakia booed when The Owls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Isăcescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Slovakia's Pavol Koleno tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavol Koleno in the 76th minute of play forced The Owls's goalkeeper Ionuț Lungu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 played minutes, Slovakia's Pavol Koleno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ionuț Lungu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Slovakia's Zigmund Maliar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Stefan Havel kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The Owls's Fabian Isăcescu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 89th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Slovakia. Daniel Suchy hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. A collision led to The Owls getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Fabian Isăcescu hit a great ball. The Owls were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
