The audience was convinced that Zigrīds Olencevics's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 27th minute. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Martínez in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, Cuervo Loco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Calvet to maneuver through the defense. Modesto Oro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Fodor Daniel managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Cuervo Loco FC's Lautaro Martínez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Balazs Lajos got free with Modesto Oro in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 52nd minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Cuervo Loco FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Takacs Tibor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cuervo Loco FC's Modesto Oro did a great save. In the 56th minute Lautaro Martínez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Cuervo Loco FC's Modesto Oro got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Beck, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Modesto Oro made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boros Benedek to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Zigrīds Olencevics came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Zigrīds Olencevics made a precise shot to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 95 minutes into the match, Cuervo Loco FC's Huang Kang Zhen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Cuervo Loco FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
