Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Hernandez in the 8th minute. Paulo Rosio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Katona Janos in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Antal Valentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Luís Hernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Major Barna notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Paulo Rosio. Paulo Rosio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luís Hernandez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Fodor Daniel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 23 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Hernandez came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Rosio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Hungary booed when Atletas Campesinos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Handi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hegedus Henrik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Paulo Rosio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Luís Hernandez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Luís Hernandez's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Hernandez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, Atletas Campesinos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Hernandez to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Remigio Handi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Rosio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hegedus Henrik went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Joel Federigo scored 2-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fodor Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Hegedus Henrik hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Joel Federigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Federigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Dalmacio Transito got a free kick in the 61st minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 64 minutes into the game, when Szekeres Tamas put in a rough tackle. 63 minutes into the game, one of Hungary:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Conrado Mouricio walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Adolfo Galindo's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Galindo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Adolfo Galindo got a free kick in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulo Rosio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Major Barna. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Federigo in the 70th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Conrado Mouricio who took care of the corner kick. Balazs Lajos took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Rosio. Paulo Rosio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Hegedus Henrik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Hernandez went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. When Gregorio Dantae came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Atletas Campesinos F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Dantae couldn't finish the play. Major Barnas short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Paulo Rosio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Atletas Campesinos F.C. succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Hungary had controlled the match.
