With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Beltran in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Arsenio Rito's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Tommy Kahn on his right side and into the goal. 6 minutes into the game it was 1-0. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Beltran went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Isidoro Beltran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isidoro Beltran showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 28 minute of play. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Beltran in the 34th minute of play. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Isidoro Beltran sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Beltran in the 42nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. The supporters of Independiente booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Sachs didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Arsenio Rito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Arsenio Rito notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sören Bengtsson in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 69 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. In the 73rd minute Isidoro Beltran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Sören Bengtsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Pepe Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Ximenes Castilla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ximenes Castilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0.
