The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rexino Arechavala during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★ getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Rexino Arechavala hit a great ball. Damir Pongrac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ilija Skugor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manu Zañartu in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, Croatia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvije Santek to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Pere Jordi Noti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 minutes, Martin Bosak mouthed his way into the referee's book.
