Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 4th minute. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucho Putin quite easily take care of the ball. In the 6th match minute, Πυργετός Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nurtekin Sami to maneuver through the defense. Lucho Putin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Lucho Putin in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thanos Kalikis in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. The Πυργετός Fc fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Πυργετός Fc's Thanos Kalikis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 20 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 23 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gijsbert ter Kruimer. After 26 played minutes Πυργετός Fc got a freekick which was hit by Petros Moschogiannis. Bas Tuitert kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Song Di Xu came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Lucho Putin in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucho Putin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Song Di Xu made the kick off in the second half. Song Di Xu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Song Di Xu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucho Putin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Kees Mooiweer hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Song Di Xu sped through Netherlands's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. Egbert Nijveldt made in the 75th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lars Meesters however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 76th minute of play forced Πυργετός Fc's goalkeeper Lucho Putin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucho Putin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 81 minutes Πυργετός Fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Bas Tuitert hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucho Putin having to make a save. Kees Mooiweer kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucho Putin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Πυργετός Fc's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
