Martin Bosak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Isaltino Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilija Skugor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 曾昂珂's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Neven Culina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, 曾昂珂 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilija Skugor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Toni Mauzer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaltino Velasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Toni Mauzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Isaltino Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Bosak in the 77th minute of play. Croatia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team.
