Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Peletier in the 2nd minute of play forced Cervantes F.C.'s goalkeeper Fausto Kemen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Fausto Kemen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Cervantes F.C. booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Chapuis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anastasio Berriotxoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Rojelio in the 17th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxime Durand was a little too slow when Samuel Rojelio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Rojelio in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Remy Dupuy kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Shen Guo Yu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Peletier was the one to do the kick off. Cervantes F.C. made a substitution. Benjamin Santxol replaced Shen Guo Yu. The supporters of France booed when Cervantes F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Fe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Peletiers short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Fausto Kemen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fausto Kemen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camille Baume in the 64th minute of the match. Cervantes F.C. made a substitution. Aurelio Bartuelo replaced Anastasio Berriotxoa. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Benjamin Santxol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cervantes F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Santxol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Durand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With 71 minutes on the clock, Placido Gonzo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 71 minutes into the game, one of Cervantes F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Frank Peletier was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 76th minute. France's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Camille Baume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Santxol kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot. France's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Peletier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Kemen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Camille Baume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Peletier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute, Benjamin Santxol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 played minutes Cervantes F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Rojelio. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 91st minute, when France's David Barbier after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Fausto Kemen in Cervantes F.C.'s goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. If Frank Peletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. France played a much better game than Cervantes F.C. and deserved their victory. The Cervantes F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
