Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Geraldo Passos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Túlio Maranhense fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Irreal Madrid's protests and gave Túlio Maranhense a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Túlio Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oliver Holub might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aílton Magalhães. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliver Holub ran back to his position shaking his head. Metod Mlynar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Pedro Travassos got free with Henrich Slany in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute Metod Mlynar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aílton Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Metod Mlynar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A throw-in in the 35th minute of the game was made by Vít Biskup with Pavol Koleno as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The supporters of Slovakia booed when Irreal Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisão Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Metod Mlynar to strike the kick off in the second half. Metod Mlynar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Irreal Madrid's Aílton Magalhães got control of the ball when Metod Mlynar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Metod Mlynar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Túlio Maranhense was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 58th match minute, Irreal Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Túlio Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. In the 60thth minute of the game Metod Mlynar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Irreal Madrid's Aílton Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Metod Mlynar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aílton Magalhães having to interfere. Aílton Magalhães was a little too slow when Oliver Holub got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-1. After a rather tough play, Irreal Madrid's Geraldo Passos got a free kick in the 78th minute. Oliver Holubs short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Aílton Magalhães to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Oliver Holub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aílton Magalhães having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Metod Mlynar got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Irreal Madrid's goalkeeper Aílton Magalhães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
