Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Zaccheo Andolina started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriele Batistuta got free with Flavio Vittori in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Porziano Marchitelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Salvidor having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Menchu FC's Flavio Vittori threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gabriele Batistuta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 20th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Porziano Marchitelli in the 25th minute of play. Italy were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Menchu FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigfrido Auletta took the corner. If Sigfrido Auletta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Salvidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 34th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Roland to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriele Batistuta to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Menchu FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Uriel Gorri hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Gabriele Batistuta put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Flavio Vittori. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigfrido Auletta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Söderqwist, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 78th minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. After a rather tough play, Italy's Eliseo Cutri got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 83rd minute of play. After 87 minutes, Adriano Curto made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriele Batistuta in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Vittori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adriano Curto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Camilo Salvidor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
