After having played for 10 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luca Speed in the 18th minute. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Czempa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hieronim Mockiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Maslak booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Meesters didn't get a good kick on the ball. Witalis Czempa charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Witalis Czempa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Maslak's Witalis Czempa got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute, Egbert Nijveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute of the match FC Maslak got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edgar Sobania ran over to the corner to take the kick. 35 minutes into the match, FC Maslak's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Hieronim Mockiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hieronim Mockiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a free kick in the 45th minute. A collision led to FC Maslak getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Edgar Sobania hit a great ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hieronim Mockiewicz. FC Maslak's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A hard shot 52 in the game by Gustaaf Groeneveldt from a close distance when the talented Hieronim Mockiewicz managed to make a qualified save. FC Maslak's players were relieved. 57 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Witalis Czempa came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Luca Speed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Hieronim Mockiewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Hieronim Mockiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC Maslak's Hieronim Mockiewicz. Hieronim Mockiewicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 71st minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hieronim Mockiewicz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Hieronim Mockiewicz 78 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Speed came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Hieronim Mockiewicz made a huge save. After 93 minutes FC Maslak's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hieronim Mockiewicz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in FC Maslak's zone, Lars Meesters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hieronim Mockiewicz came out of the goal and Lars Meesters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Maslak throughout the match.
