Damian Şchiopu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavol Koleno, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Damian Şchiopu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Metod Mlynar in the 9th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Metod Mlynar got free with Damian Şchiopu in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anartz Macho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrich Slany having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Metod Mlynar made a kick off. Damian Şchiopu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Holub, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Calfachioi AC's goal looked a bit too open when Metod Mlynar came free, but Damian Şchiopu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henrich Slany was a little too slow when Anartz Macho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-1. After having played for 92 minutes, Anartz Macho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calfachioi AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anartz Macho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 94 played minutes Calfachioi AC got a freekick which was hit by Anartz Macho. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Calfachioi AC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
