Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 4th minute of the match GuateFortín got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Máximo Perrone ran over to the corner to take the kick. GuateFortín's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Máximo Perrone in the 5th minute. GuateFortín's Máximo Perrone was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 10 minutes GuateFortín's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Hungary's Balazs Lajos to fire away a dangerous shot which Nery Pumpido despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fodor Daniel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Hungary's Balazs Lajos in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GuateFortín's goalie prevented a goal. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nery Pumpido having to interfere. After 22 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Angel Alvarenga. The audience was convinced that Major Barna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nery Pumpido was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Sven-Edvin Jansson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Fodor Daniel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Nery Pumpido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zico Zellier, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Zico Zellier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 59 minutes of play, GuateFortín's Zico Zellier made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62nd match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. GuateFortín made a substitution. Mario Gomez replaced Angel Alvarenga. GuateFortín's Erick Braun was substituted for Stanyo Búnkov. 66 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. In the 67th minute Zico Zellier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Gomez hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Bakos Endre hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 71 minutes of play, GuateFortín's Zico Zellier made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute of the match, Antal Valentin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nery Pumpido was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The corner went over the outstretched arms of GuateFortín's goalie and right to Major Barna. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. GuateFortín's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Hungary's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because GuateFortín had won, even though Hungary had held more of the ball.
