The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bartolo Ishmael made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Tomás Bonifaco made a huge save. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Ishmael in the 12th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Belgium defense, Bartolo Ishmael kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Claes. The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Claes should have stopped the shot. After 18 played minutes Torino FC got a freekick which was hit by Hans-Hermann Spieler. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Bonifaco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Ishmael in the 22nd minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Ishmael came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Tomás Bonifaco managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tomás Bonifaco made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. Edward Vanderstraeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Ishmael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After a rather tough play, Belgium's Laurens Vandamme got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 52 played minutes, Torino FC's Gogo Fidele shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Casper Claes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Torino FC reached it. Tomás Bonifaco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Tomás Bonifaco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Vanderstraeten's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The corner led Belgium's Simon Sabbe to a score. 1-2 in the 96th minute. Chants of Torino FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Belgium had held the ball for most of the match.
