After some careless play in the Italy defense, Ianis Man kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Vittori. The Italy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Vittori should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute of the match, Zaccheo Andolina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Octavian Soare saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Deodato Magliozzi kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Octavian Soare had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaccheo Andolina. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Shi Li sent off a good shot on target. Shi Li could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. 94 minutes into the match, Guiscardo Davide notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare. Octavian Soare was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
