Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ando Koppelmaa took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 played minutes Antarctica IF got a freekick which was hit by Ando Koppelmaa. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidar Ersman in the 8th minute of play. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Antarctica IF's Pastor Aurken sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Flavio Balasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 18th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Flavio Balasi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22nd match minute, Antarctica IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Lehior to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Antarctica IF getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jonatan Frederico hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 26th match minute, Antarctica IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ando Koppelmaa to maneuver through the defense. In the 30thth minute of the game Vidar Ersman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Etxahun in the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of Antarctica IF booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wim Wilmes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Flavio Balasi however easily saved by the left post. In the 42nd minute Pastor Aurken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ando Koppelmaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Antarctica IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Frederico didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th match minute, Antarctica IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vidar Ersman to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidar Ersman in the 54th minute of the match. Antarctica IF's Flavio Balasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 55th minute of play. Flavio Balasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Aurken in the 66th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Flavio Balasi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Antarctica IF made a substitution. Maximino Lander replaced Vidar Ersman. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Antarctica IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Antarctica IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Netherlands:s goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 83rd minute David Eikelkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Balasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 minutes, Erubiel Claus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Antarctica IF and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Antarctica IF got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Claus. In the 85th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wim Wilmes to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Balasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Antarctica IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Netherlands's Kees Mooiweer getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The corner led Antarctica IF's Teofilo Etxahun to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnout Reekers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 98th minute of the match Antarctica IF got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pastor Aurken ran over to the corner to take the kick. Netherlands's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
