Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gustaaf Groeneveldt took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richmond De Worteleere. Richmond De Worteleere dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Meesters in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richmond De Worteleere prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Bruno Abeita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcin Wietrzychowski's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcin Wietrzychowski helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AC 1986 Vinalito's Marcin Wietrzychowski got a free kick in the 19th minute. A nice corner shot did that Erubiel Frichoso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnout Reekers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of AC 1986 Vinalito booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egbert Nijveldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richmond De Worteleere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Abeita came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Abeita scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Richmond De Worteleere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Richmond De Worteleere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC 1986 Vinalito's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Richmond De Worteleere in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Paolo Nicholas hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Richmond De Worteleere. AC 1986 Vinalito's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Richmond De Worteleere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 44th minute of the match. Bruno Abeita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Arnout Reekers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Domingos Bortzaioriz kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Frances in the 61st minute of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richmond De Worteleere read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After 65 minutes of play, AC 1986 Vinalito's Alberto Bidun made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute Bruno Abeita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute of the match Erubiel Frichoso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. AC 1986 Vinalito made a substitution. Artemio Matthew replaced Marciano Valente. In the 82nd minute, Wim Wilmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Richmond De Worteleere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 85th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Richmond De Worteleere firmly grabbed it by the left post. The AC 1986 Vinalito fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when AC 1986 Vinalito's Bruno Abeita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 97th minute Eliseo Frances shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
