When Murillo Leão fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mitnarotov FC's protests and gave Murillo Leão a yellow card for diving instead. Murillo Leão hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Kyle Cox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Micah Macdonald scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Almir Miranda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Mitnarotov FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Cox came free, but Almir Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Micah Macdonald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyle Cox stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kyle Cox in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Almir Miranda saved Mitnarotov FC from getting behind. Almir Miranda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Issac Dawson in the 55th minute.
