Günalp Taştan came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Wim Wilmes. But to his dismay, Wim Wilmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the game, 叶凌宁 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bitelon FC - SAF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. In the 11th match minute, Bitelon FC - SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 叶凌宁 to maneuver through the defense. Günalp Taştan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 13th minute of play. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 14th minute. The audience was convinced that Dimitris Papaggelatos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 24th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Günalp Taştan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Dimitris Papaggelatos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bitelon FC - SAF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Papaggelatos in the 28th minute of the match. Bitelon FC - SAF's Günalp Taştan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Dimitris Papaggelatos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 52 minutes into the game, when Hortêncio Soares put in a rough tackle. Hortêncio Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Günalp Taştan made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Bitelon FC - SAF's Dimitris Papaggelatos got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gust Ennemans to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gust Ennemans hit a great ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 叶凌宁, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by 叶凌宁 in the 71st minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Durval Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. Bitelon FC - SAF's Edmílson Rossi was substituted for Dimitris Papaggelatos. In the 75th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Günalp Taştan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Bitelon FC - SAF's goalkeeper Günalp Taştan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. After 79 minutes, Edmílson Rossi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bitelon FC - SAF and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edmílson Rossi hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Bitelon FC - SAF's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Günalp Taştan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes in the game, Wim Wilmes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Günalp Taştan having to interfere. The Bitelon FC - SAF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
