But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariusz Komornicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 17th minute of play forced CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper Mariusz Komornicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Basajaun came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Mariusz Komornicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 20th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Arnaldo Basajaun took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Arnout Reekers to make any attempt to save it. The CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Arnaldo Basajaun looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arnout Reekers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arnaldo Basajaun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 32 minute of play. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Mariusz Komornicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Eikelkamp in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Arnaldo Basajaun managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Basajaun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jorge-Luis Valdivia took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Jorge-Luis Valdivia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnout Reekers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnaldo Basajaun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Mariusz Komornicki in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE made a substitution. Yu Quan Di replaced Amadeu Pinho. 61 minutes into the game, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Arnaldo Basajaun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 66 minutes into the match, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Mariusz Komornicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariusz Komornicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 69th minute of play. Mariusz Komornicki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Meesters's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Mariusz Komornicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
