Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Italy's Zaccheo Andolina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th match minute, River CBBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arano Abendano to maneuver through the defense. After 15 minutes Italy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Deng Xing Sang who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Italy's goalie and right to Endura Abechuco. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Italy's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Modesto Ado kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Marcelo Barovero made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Zaccheo Andolina sent off a good shot on target. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ponciano Abarca in the 21st minute of the match. Eliseo Cutri kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Abechuco came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 28th minute of play forced River CBBA's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Marcelo Barovero made a huge save. Ponciano Abarca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Sergio Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ponciano Abarca struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Flavio Vittori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River CBBA. River CBBA's Juan Funes was substituted for Ponciano Abarca. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 57th minute of play. Italy were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after River CBBA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigfrido Auletta took the corner. When Matías Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River CBBA's protests and gave Matías Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. Marcelo Barovero came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Zaccheo Andolina. But to his dismay, Zaccheo Andolina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Matías Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Matías Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deodato Magliozzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Arano Abendano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 89 minutes into the match. Marcelo Barovero had in the 92ndth minute some difficulties stopping Siricio Liotta's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Siricio Liotta did an outstanding performance 92 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 3-0 to the right of an irritated Marcelo Barovero in the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Guerau Abeitia in the 97th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Siricio Liotta. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Siricio Liotta during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 98th match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gomberto Picozzi to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Guerau Abeitia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Italy's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
