Henrich Slany showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cícero das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Metod Mlynar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 周真远 having to interfere. Vavrinec Koleno kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, 梅渊骋 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 人至溅无敌！水至清无鱼！'s supporters rose to their feet, but 梅渊骋 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrich Slany breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Slovakia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. 人至溅无敌！水至清无鱼！ were winning 2-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Metod Mlynar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero das Neves in the 55th minute of play. With an all-out effort, 人至溅无敌！水至清无鱼！'s Henrich Slany threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cícero das Neves, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cícero das Neves really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Henrich Slany came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by 人至溅无敌！水至清无鱼！'s Ingemar Tillman. But to his dismay, Ingemar Tillman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. In the 81st minute, 秦诚树 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oliver Holub's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 周真远 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Vavrinec Koleno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by 秦诚树 in the 86th minute really tested Henrich Slany's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 87 minutes into the game, Vavrinec Koleno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
