When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, 严文朗 put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Casper Claes. In the 15th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 鲁谦烨. The goal made the score 2-1. 鲁谦烨 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 18th minute. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, 鲁谦烨 skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 24th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. 25 minutes into the game, 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's Patric 刘备 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casper Claes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 鲁谦烨 made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Edward Vanderstraeten got away a dangerous shot. Despite this 鲁谦烨 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Siebe Michiels's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, 鲁谦烨 skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Siebe Michiels's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but 鲁谦烨 firmly grabbed it by the left post. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 乔响银 in the 33rd minute of play. 鲁谦烨 came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgium's players had a chance to rest. Belgium's Lenny Clocheret was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 鲁谦烨 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 40th play minutes Lenny Clocheret shot 4-2, a short shot which went by 鲁谦烨 and just under the crossbar into goal. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patric 刘备 in the 48th minute of play.

The wind increased when Patric 刘备 made the kick off in the second half. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patric 刘备, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's 鲁谦烨 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 58th minute of play. When Lenny Clocheret came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Belgium fans jumped to their feet. The audience was convinced that Edward Vanderstraeten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 鲁谦烨 was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. The supporters of Belgium booed when 【FLY】莱比锡红牛 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position.
